Trees that Count – native trees available now
The Motueka Catchment Collective (MCC) has 5000 native plants available for landowners in the Motueka catchment supplied by Trees that Count.
Get your applications in by 15 April.
1000 plants are allocated to lifestylers completing a farm environment plan (look out for an event coming up about this) and the rest are for landowners in the Motueka catchment who apply for a minimum of 200 plants. MCC will also provide a subsidy of $0.50 towards a plant covers.
When you apply, you will be asked to describe your planting project and how you plan to care for your plants, and other basic information. You will need to agree to map the planting and provide photos and 1 year survival data (if you have not met this requirement previously you will not be eligible to receive trees).
