Seed collection net winners!

Congratulations to Jemmah Shelling, Anna Lovell, and Lisa Quinn who were the winners of our beautiful handmade seed collection nets. Also pictured here is Kate Radloff, Chair of the Biodiversity and Restoration Thematic Group of the MCC.

Jemmah is planning to do the following with her nets:

“I’d put a seed collection net under some kahikatea, totara, Rimu and Manuka as they are my favourite trees. I’d really like to have more Rimu growing at home!
these seeds collected with the net would be grown in my shade house at home, ultimately ending up growing in my restoration regeneration block that my partner and I are creating on our property. This net would help to collect the seeds we need!”
