DESCRIPTION:  Bruce Stare\, a key member of the Pest Management Group \nJoin the Pest Management Group for the first working bee of 2026 to tackle Old Man’s Beard in the beautiful Haycocks Bush. \nLet’s work together to continue along Haycocks Bush\, removing Old Man’s Beard vines using the cut and paste method. So much good work has been done already. The floods damaged the road and flowed through the bush\, but the weeding work done so far has not been undone! \nWe would love to have you help out. \nRefreshments provided. Wear sturdy shoes and gardening clothes. \nAll equipment and training provided. \nCome & join the Motueka Catchment Collective in making a difference to our taonga species and our beautiful awa – be a part of the change you wish to see! \nIf you don’t fancy doing the actual weeding work but would like to volunteer any other skills/time\, they’d love to hear from you.
