DESCRIPTION:Brooklyn Planting Project\nThe BOMB Squad has taken on a small native planting project on the banks of the Brooklyn Stream just past the Linden Reserve\, in conjunction with Vaila Orchard.  We’re currently preparing the site for planting in early spring and have a bit more work to do in removing willow saplings.\n\nIf you are a keen gardener with time on your hands or would like to know more about this project\, please do get in touch as we definitely need more people involved!\n\nWe are having a community planting day:\nSaturday 2 August\, 10am – 12.30pm\nLinden Place Reserve\, Brooklyn.\n\nAll welcome\, but please let us know if you’d like to come along by emailing:\nbrooklynoldmansbeardmustgo@gmail.com

DESCRIPTION:The Rapid Relief Team have their upcoming Farmers Community Connect event in Tapawera\, on Thursday 28th August 2025 from 8am – 12pm. This event is to support flood affected farmers in the Tasman region\, with donations of fencing materials.
