Brooklyn Planting Project
The BOMB Squad has taken on a small native planting project on the banks of the Brooklyn Stream just past the Linden Reserve, in conjunction with Vaila Orchard. We’re currently preparing the site for planting in early spring and have a bit more work to do in removing willow saplings.
If you are a keen gardener with time on your hands or would like to know more about this project, please do get in touch as we definitely need more people involved!

10am -12pm
We’ll be removing and poisoning more of the scraggly young willow trees, in preparation for August planting.
Meet at the far corner of the Linden Place Reserve
Bring saws (handsaw, chainsaw)
Cuppa and a muffin afterwards (bring your own drink)
