Fencing Support Available for Motueka Catchment Residents

MCC has allocated budget to purchase 1.8m quarter rounds from Repost to support fencing projects within the Motueka catchment.

✅ Who can apply?
Residents within the Motueka catchment. Check if your property is eligible using this map.

✅ What projects are supported?

• Fencing off wetlands, native bush, planting areas, or waterways
• Projects aimed at improving farm or land efficiency

🔧 Important note:
Quarter rounds are just one part of a fencing setup. You’ll also need larger poles, end posts, strainers, and wire. For advice, contact John Noakes at 027 446 4413.
