Second wetland construction project underway!

Here are a few pics and videos of the second wetland project supported by MCC & TDC happening on a property near the Alexandra Bluff Bridge in the Motueka Valley. Construction got underway on Wednesday 30 May.

This wetland will gradually fill with water over the winter months as the groundwater rises. It will be populated with native plants and rushes, leading to biodiversity gains and reduced sediment to the Motueka River.
